Each year the Sultan and the Ottoman nobles gathered in an Imperial mosque to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).This image shows the celebration in the Sultan Ahmed (Blue) mosque during Sultan Mahmud II's reign (1808-1839).

كل عام  كان السلطان والنبلاء العثمانيون يتجمعون في أحد المساجد للاحتفال بمولد النبي محمد (صلي الله عليه وسلم)  تظهر هذه الصورة  الاحتفال في مسجد السلطان أحمد (الأزرق) خلال عهد السلطان محمود الثاني (١٨٠٨-١٨٣٩ ).

Insha'Allah time will bring an end to the Wahhabi oppression of the hearts of the lovers of the Pride of Creation ﷺ, and these same lovers will rejoice in honouring the holy city of Medina as it once was long-ago under the glorious era of the Ottoman Caliphate.
